T-Ball....

So the T in T-Ball stands for try, right? We are trying to learn how to hit the ball off the T. It is never to early to start... or maybe it is. Walker went to gym class today and had a blast learning to tumble and roll over. Lots of running away from Mommy, then looking around and seeing Mommy, and then running back to her. I guess he wants his independence, but then really wants his Mommy!

Outside is the BESTEST!

For all those Moms out there, and cracker lovers too, those new flipside crackers are awesome. Walker can't stop snacking on them. We are now spending our afternoons outside while the weather is mild and the mosquitos are nonexsistent. Walker LOVES it when his sisters play around him. He just laughs!

Peanut buttery goodness!

So this is a girl scout cookie? I'll take another, please! MMMMM is all I kept saying, and Mommy couldn't agree more. Yeah for tagalongs!

Yummy Yummy Yummy!!!!

After the sad pictures, I thought I would post some more on a happier note. Walker can eat with a spoon and fork now! He is a big boy! He still has a time putting the food on the spoon/fork so I still help out. You can tell by the pictures his appetite is returning. Yeah!

I have had a week!!!!

Some of you may or may not know, but our little boy has had a terrible week! Walker started running a very high fever of 104 early Sunday morning. Jonathan took him to the ER at the hospital where I was working, and once he was in the exam room, he had a 5 minute seizure due to his high fever. At this time it was close to 105. He had several lab work drawn, a spinal tap, an IV started, a chest xray, the works. We were admitted and stayed for three days for antibiotic therapy and to closely monitor him. We had the absolute best care possible. The Doctors, nurses, general staff.....amazing. I couldn't be prouder of my colleages, and I know that Walker is only going to get better because of their care and attention. His doctor, Dr. Cooley, called me this morning and really thinks Walker has roseola, a virus that can cause all of the symptoms he has. Walker no longer has the fever and has a rash on the trunk of his body which is a great sign that the fever is over and he is on the mend. Our little boy gave us quite a scare. No pics of the hospitalization, just ones of the rash and him taking his morning nap in the best place of all....his crib!
