I smiled....for real!

Just Chillin in my chair that my great-grandma Joyce gave me. I particularly love this swing after I eat. It soothes me right to sleep. I just smiled for the first real time!!!! Daddy was telling me how big I had gotten when he was at work, and I thought that was funny so I smiled...a big smile and then I smiled a little more. Who knew me smiling and looking at my Daddy would be such news but it is. Today I hung out with Jackson while Mom and Amber walked on the silver comet trail. Then I had lunch with Ellie while Mom and her friends ate. We just slept. Go figure.

I drool......at least that is what my shirt says.

I know that this is just a random picture that looks like he is smiling, but I think that it is precious. I was trying to showcase his outfit Christy our neighbor gave him, and he really perked up before the camera. Future ham? Adorable all the same.
The one above shows how he tries to sit up whenever I put him in the boppy. He is getting really strong for a 5 week old! Today he even sat in his bumbo chair and liked it!

Walker wanted to show everyone the onesie that his talented Uncle Andy made. Turns out it is really fun to have a graphic artist in the family!!! Click on the picture and you can read what it says....

Me and My very tired Momma

Me and GGpa and GGma!!!

Today I went up to my Great-Grandparents house to visit. Mom dressed me in my jail bird pants. Dad thinks I look silly, I think I look handsome. Great-Grandpa held me and I stretched and made all of my funny noises. It was a lot of fun. I love my Great-Grandparents and Anne!!

See??? I am active. I love my giddy up and go gym the beautiful nurses of 3East gave me. And the boppy is a perfect cradle. I keep reaching for the cow, someday l'll get it.

how I spend my day

A lot can happen during the day, I just don't know about it or more importantly, care. I love to sleep on my Mom and Dad's bed and even more on my huge boppy my Great Aunt Kathy made for me. I did suffer an outfit change which disturbed my nursing and sleeping.

My Mom wanted me to spend tummy time, well, on my tummy, but I rather spend it in a breakdancing move pose. I flipped myself over onto my side which I like much better. Does that count as my first turn over???

And I am spent......

You really can't tell it in this picture, but I am getting really good at holding up my head and looking around. This is what learning to do that does to you. Sacks you out!!!

Me and My Daddy

Ellie and Walker....the early Bama fan years

Ellie and Walker have plenty of choices for college, I know. But if it were up to their Dads, I bet they would be Bama bound. We had Sals and Jody over for the Bama vs. Kentucky basketball game. Ellie stayed awake much longer than our Walker. Bama won by a few, and the babies celebrated with some bottles of breastmilk!

The studs of BABY BOWL 2007!!!!

A lot changes when you and your best friends have kids. No more all nighters that involve drinks and dancing, but rather all nighters that include breast milk and burp cloths. But what an awesome thing to have your friends take the journey of parenthood along side you. Every Superbowl Sunday that Jonathan and I have been together we have thrown a party. This year was no exception; however, we did have a few new additions. Gavin and his wife Amber brought Jackson, the eldest of the trilogy. Jody and Sally with their sweet daughter Ellie, and the of course, Jonathan and Walker. So much fun!!! Dads were on duty while the girls got to enjoy themselves, chatting away about the struggles and joys of motherhood. All three babies really behaved themselves, eating and sleeping most of the night. Jaime and her fiance Harry also stopped by to enjoy the festivaties. We really did have a fun evening. Can't wait till next year when they will be walking!

Isn't he lovely?

Our wonderful Walker

How sweet is our little man? I know that I am biased, just like every mom. He just looks so innocent in this picture. If he takes after either of us, boy does he have us fooled.
This picture was taken on new year's eve 2005, right before we got married. My, a lot can happen within in one years time. A marriage, then a baby....whoa!

Welcome to our family!!

Hello everyone!!!
I thought this might be an easy way for everyone to keep updated on our family happenings assuming people are interested in our doings! Jonathan and I have been together now for five years, and were married on March 18h 2006. A little more than three months later, we found out we were blessed with a little one on the way! We live here in Atlanta, in a suburb called Smyrna.
Jonathan works in sales and I as a pediatric nurse. Jonathan Walker Glasscox was born on January 19th at 7:44am at Piedmont Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs and 6 oz. Jonathan and I are overwhelmed by how much we love him already! Walker is such a sweet baby that sleeps well, eats well and pretty much just hangs out. I can't wait till he gets a little older and his personality really shines through. I will do my best to keep this site updated, so please send us comments to keep me motivated!
