They say it's my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Oh boy.... I love this birthday stuff! Today I has such a blast eating and playing in my cake....My sweet Miss Abby made me a big Elmo cake and a little one just for me. I lOVED it! So many people came to my party despite all of the snow and what not! Oh, yes, it SNOWED on my birthday! Can you believe it! Here are some pics of me enjoying my cake, can you tell I loved all of the attention?!?!

Another first....Walker's first snow!

Now before you call DFACS, I know, no shoes. But we ran outside to see our very first snow flakes! Jonathan calls it Blizzard '08. Walker kicked and squealed. He loves the snow just like his Momma!

Come on ride that train....

So taking from a parenting book on what to do to entertain your toddler, I put Walker in the laundry basket and pushed him from room to room to pick up stuff animals. I sang "all aboard the choo-choo train" while I pushed him and he laughed and laughed!

So funny. We are looking forward to having everyone over this weekend for his first birthday soiree! Hope to see you there-

TK and Bubba got fresh and we got it on camera. Bubba's new favorite thing to do is kiss, so of course, he kisses his best buddy.

A Day of FIRSTS!

Today Walker ate his very first happy meal, (no pics) and then had his hair cut for the very first time! My Mom cut while I distracted him with food and books. This first picture is pre-haircut. You can tell it was time for a trim.

Jonathan and I snuck out to a movie....We saw JUNO, highly recommend it. Very funny. When we came home, someone was waiting in the window......God love him.

Meeting my new friend

In Alabama, we met up with Jonathan's buddy TJ and his wife Kettia and their beautiful daughter Sophia. It was really neat to see the two interact. Walker definatley enjoyed her fun toys! Christmas was a blast, a blur, but a blast. Next year we are going to spend more than one night in Alabama, it went by too quickly. Everyone was truly generous helping Walker celebrate his first Christmas. He can't wait till next year!

I am loving all of this attention! Santa came to see me last night, and apparently I was a very good boy. I don't really understand all of this yet, but what I do know is my Mom and Dad are home with me and there are a lot of new toys for me to play with. Santa even left some pig ears for my sisters to eat. Eeewww. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

ELLIE IS ONE!!!!!!!

Can't believe our bestest friend turned one today! We are so excited. She wasn't feeling all that well, but it didn't stop her from looking adorable as she ate some cake. Love to our TK!

Party time!!!

Walker and I went to a christmas party in my parents' neighborhood. The family who threw the party decorated their house with so many different Christmas trees Walker didn't know what to think! He squealed at all the lights and just smiled. He had a blast, and everyone loved to see his reaction.

I know, but I am a proud Momma. It kinda looks like he has a black eye, but he doesn't. His hair is totally out of control curly, I think it might be time for a hair cut!

Learning to share

Walker and Ellie are too funny now together. They get really excited to see each other, now they just need to learn to share with one another. How do you teach two one-year olds that???? Bubba was extra sensative when he woke up from his nap. I think this upset picture will come back to haunt him someday!

Independently Mobile

Yesterday, for whatever reason, Walker decided to take off with his push toy. He is walking laps around everywhere! With a few falls of course, but he is really getting the hang of balancing and walking. Maybe soon he won't need the toy....

Walker was able to show Gi-Gi Pa his new skills last night at dinner. He is so proud!

Struting my stuff

Walker is lovin pushing his little car around. He does pretty well as long as I am in front of him regulating his speed. Seems we might have little lead foot on our hands. We are really excited about this weekend when we get to see all of our relatives in Alabama. It has been too long!

Tis the season!

Well, we put up the tree somewhat. All but the decorations. Walker, needless to say, is thrilled! He just squeals when he looks at the tree. We also put some lights outside on our bushes, and Walker thinks that is just awesome. I remember when I was little just how much fun this time of year is, and I want that for Walker. Jonathan and I discussed what we did with our families for Christmas, so hopefully we can come up with some traditions of our own.

Patty-cake, Patty-cake!

So cute....Walker loves to patty cake! He has also started to shake his head "no" which is really funny. I can't believe how much he is growing....so fast!

It isn't pretty....but I am crawling!!!

All of the sudden, I decided that I am going to crawl. Yep, up on all fours, movin and shakin. Mom thought she was going to get to sit this one out, but I had bigger plans for her. I am standing for a few seconds now more often and have let go to move to the coffee table a couple of times.

Standing, standing, all I want to do is stand!!!!

Getting ready for my bath. Mom let me stand up next to the tub last night sans diaper..... and you can guess what happened. That's right. I peeded all over the floor, so now I keep my diaper on till I am almost in the water. I am getting so good at this standing stuff, when Mom lets go I stand for a couple of seconds, then I plop to the ground.

Enjoying my new hair care!

Mommy works with the sweetest nurses. Miss Mildred, who works with my Mommy, gave me this brush. It is the softest brush and I love it when my Daddy brushes my long curls. It was very kind of her to think of me- I am a very loved little boy.

My first Halloween!!!!!!

BOOOOOOOO! Did I scare you? I am not to sure about halloween, but what I am sure about.....suckers. Blue rasberry is my fav. It was fun to see all the neighborhood kids dressed up. Mom said I was the cutest. I think she is partial. The top picture is my Daddy carrying me to my first house. Yeah for Halloween! Yeah for suckers!

Jonathan and I had the pleasure of attending Blake and Susan's wedding in New Orleans this past weekend. The Big Easy was a blast, but I am THRILLED to be back with Bubba. He truly is our joy. Papa took this picture while we were gone, and of course, I had to share.

Trick or Treat!!!!!!!!

Don't you just love costumes! Bubbie looks somewhat less than thrilled to be in his elephant costume, but it is just once a year. I think he gets his dislike of dressing up from his Dad.

Mommy puts me in front of my toy box and now I can dig through and get what I want. I am starting to get a little more independent! I let Mommy sleep till 8:20 this morning. She thought she was dreaming when she woke up!
